Cubs: Becoming a Cub

Before you can be invested as a Cub in this Pack you will need to complete the requirements for your Cub Badge. Once you have completed these requirements listed below you can wear your new badge with pride!

We generally run one investiture night per term.  See the Activity Plan for the next one.

Becoming a Cub Handbook

Scouting NZ has produced a great handbook that has all you need to know about becoming a Cub, the way the Pack works, and a bit of history on where we come from.

  1. Good Day

My boy Troy, is 6years old turning 7 in December and would really like to join cubs. Just a few questions . At what age can they start and what’s the closest group to island bay?
I was a cub then scout many years ago and loved the values it taught me.
