We received a grant from the Vogelmorn Foundation (https://www.tvf.org.nz) for our much needed new hall door. It has transformed the entrance and improved safety by having a standard handle which the youth can reliably use! It even has the latest updated version of the World Scouting logo!

The hall has seen a series of major upgrades over the last decade. Starting with urgent foundation work, a new deck (giving us some level outside space), a new kitchen and a new storage area & Venturer room.

More recently we have had the floor refinished, a new acoustic ceiling installed, LED lighting fitted, rewired the distribution board, added new heaters, replaced the windows (we can now see out & open them!), refinished the window seats, installed new pinboard wall lining & painted the walls. The door was the last piece of the puzzle.

This work was nearly all done by volunteers!

We are now able to hire the hall out for community use.
