Yay! we’ve finally had the ability to undertake a tramp – thanks to the support of enough adult volunteers😅
After camping overnight in the Catchpool Valley Campsite we headed off for Paua Hut. Blessed with fine mild weather – always a bonus – river crossings were easy (some of us didn’t even get wet feet!). No speed records were broken but for several scouts it was there first time tramping. Lots of fun was had by all – especially the rangatahi whose dam building skills were impressive!
