We had a great turnout for the group campfire, the cubs did an excellent job running a couple of the songs.
Afterwords everyone enjoyed some sausages and some toasted marshmallows.

Thirteen Brooklyn Scouts visited Brittania Sea Scouts in Evans Bay on Sunday afternoon (10th September). Jamboree had given some of of our Scouts experience in rowing the Sea Scouts cutters, but being Wellington – we were able to relax and use sail power too!
For a number of our youth it was the first time they had experienced sailing. Relaxing might not be word Florence, Mathieu or Winston would use as they were rather ‘wide eyed’ when we caught a particularly strong gusts and the boat healed over!
Many thanks to Gary for organising such an enjoyable afternoon. And a big BRAVO to the Brittania Sea Scouts and their leaders for hosting us.
Yours in Scouting, John
