Another fine evening – well, until an energetic thunderstorm rolled in – but we got to try some new games before the rain arrived!

Later we watched a short video outlining Scouting’s “Safe From Harm” culture: helping our young people understand the difference between what is right and wrong and empowering them to speak up.

Tonight our Keas learnt how to orientate a map, planned their route around the zoo, and made scroggin – I wonder if it will be eaten before Sunday? Will they stick to their planned routes? The evening finished with a quick spin on the ever popular swing.

Yay, another fine night for Scouts! We tried out a variety of tracks under the windmill, some were on the adventurous side of fun!

Tonight the Cubs tried their hand at a variety of knots. Some young people really enjoy the challenge of learning knots – others get themselves all tied up in knots!

Tonight the Cubs who undertook the walk into Turere Lodge last weekend shared their experiences with the rest of the Pack and answered questions about what they got up to. It’s always fun to hear their reflections and to learn about what they saw as highlights!?
