Recently we visited Karori West and played noughts and crosses (very loudly). This was a first introduction, working towards being one Troop at Jamboree. One of our scouts wanted a sewing badge; so he made one! And as part of a planning session Scouts showed they could sign the Scout Promise

Cubs finally get to camp!
Cub Kaiārahi don’t like wind or wet?, so the cub camp had to be postponed twice, before the weather cooperated!
According to one Cub, the train trip to Waikanae took ‘hours’ and the walk to the campsite (a private garden) was sooo long! And they weren’t carrying any gear!?
A great time was had by all but wasp encounters seemed to feature in the feedback?
