Last Night at Brooklyn Scouts 2 new Leaders Emma Watson and Jocelyn Morrison were invested.

Congratulations and thank you, we look forward to you being part of the Brooklyn leader community.

Cubs were busy on Monday evening preparing for emergencies ranging from earthquakes to fires and tsunami.    They prepared for practical things they could do, and had fun with a “quick response” game.  Ask your cub for household advice on emergency preparation!

Activities all help to achieve progress on the cubs award scheme.   Remember to check OSM for your cub’s progress.

A fabulous time was had by about 80 keas, cubs, scouts and their families:   takeaways followed by sumptuous deserts and a series of traditional campfire skits.
A great way for Brooklyn Group families to get together, and a big thank you to David and Anneleah for organising.   And happy birthday to Neil, who celebrated his birthday.

Just ask the cubs about solutions to Wellington’s transport challenges.  Teams of 4 tackled “transport design”, constructed their roads, parking and more, and tried out their vehicles.    Great fun, and great team work – what scouting is all about.
